Not sure Pedey is ever going to be a) healthy again and /or b) the player he once was. Holt is a great utility player don't want him at second everyday, and Nunez , meh
I think Scopes is a good glove and fast, geat hitter in the gaps, everything the Sox used to win this year

He did always play well vs them etc...but, he looked real bad in Milwaukee....might be worth a flyer. Either way, i think you ll see they address this issue for sure, over offseason.
They do have an interesting twist, but, it may be a year away. Their top prospect, Michael Chavis, is gonna have a legit shot of making club come spring. Personally, i think he s not ready, but, as a third basemen, one wonders if either he or Devers could play second.
Nice to have such problems. Best case sceneraio, and the one all Sox fans want? Give us Pedey for 2 more years!! That was only bummer of a championship season, it sucked that the fearless leader of team wasnt suited up.

Sox did sign Eovaldi though...two down, pearce, and eovaldi....one more big move left...sign Kimbrel? Or let him go, sign a starter, and go w barnes, and or Sale/ Eovaldi by years end?

Bye bye Joe Kelly...no big loss there...he had a great post season, for sure, but, he s been inconsistant as all hell ever since they got him....
Time to build a whole new pen, and get a second baseman for insurance...i like thar kid from KC, but, idk if he already got traded, i know he s on block etc...
Lot if rumors flying around winter meetings....should be interesting

Whit Merrifeild? I like him but not sure what Sox have to offer KC , also everything I've read it that Dombroski is set on Pedey and reading between the lines , sounds like they don't want to bring in anyone and upset Dustin. Nunez and Holt splitting the job doesn't work for me. And IMO the stories I've read about trading Devers and bringing up the other kid is crazy Devers is 22 !!!!
ON another note is Bogeartes the most underatted player in MBL, no one outside Boston fans know this 288/22/107 with 44 doubles , gold glove caliber and speed, (the numers might be off working on memory) Lock Him Up Dave

Anyone that can take a 102 mph fastball from Chapman and turn on it...crush it....cmon, Dave, give this kid at least, at least, one, if not 2 more years to shine...and, i thought, he started to play much better in the field after being called back up late in year, and in the playoffs....
He could be the next Adrian Beltre...(remember how we let him get away???? )

The guy they are really gonna be glad they signed , altgough he s off to a terrible start, is Marwin Gonzalez. ....he single handedly whipped up on the Sox (almost got the job done, too) last year...
