There was a rally in Monticello today. 100 people whining about the big bad federal government. "Trump this Monument" is their cry.
Our congressional delegation had many years to approach this issue. Did nothing. And the biggest whiner chairs the Natural Resources Committee in the House of Representatives.
He had his chances. Refused to work with enviros AND Obama. You see the result. Now they want to obliterate the Antiquities Act.
IT'S VERY IMPORTANT FOR PEOPLE AROUND THE NATION TO WRITE THEIR SENATORS AND SUPPORT THE MONUMENT AND THE ANTIQUITIES ACT.

I gave the SUWA a 100 dollars this summer,it was a hard sacrifice for me financially (no sushi or fancy drinks for two weeks) but anyway
it is for the greatest of causes, I live in SU and I see the threat it is under everyday.
ATVs are destroying the climate and environment, they go everywhere, trails are all over the place,
and nothing I see is keeping them in check.I mean they look like a fuckin' blast but...
