I just got a nixie message about a half hour ago to evacuate immediately if near the Russian River. Peak and JJ upgraded their home a few years ago so I think they're probably fine, but I wonder if they can get to their house.
Peak and Jam, y'all are welcome over here if you're stuck away from home. It's not Shangi-la, but there's chicken stew simmering on the stove and biscuits are almost ready to bake.
Just finished moving the items we moved higher just a few weeks ago, now up into the house for safe keeping. I'm sweating, but the posters, set lists, dat tapes, camping gear, and the gazillion CD tubs need to be high and dry. This should be a humdinger!
We are evacuating this time. Cops just came by and told us to leave. We could ride it out but it is very isolating, streets are impassable, so we are heading for the hills. This rain is simply relentless. Thanks for all the offers of higher ground, kind zoners. Love to you all.

Save the women and children
Save the women and children (and posters) first
So glad you became stilt people a few years back
and that everyone is safe, and you might as well be evacuated if you're completely trapped anyway
Maybe Larry needs to have less long balls to keep them dry ?
