I really had a blast. I know the deal here too. A lot of older Deadheads don't listen to knew stuff and they don't like the kids around today.

I am totally the other way. I am getting older and LOVE that the kids keep exploring and finding ways to keep this going. I love a lot of the older bands, but it gets a little stale to me if that is all I listen to.

I do t know, I guess I really love the Jam world and I want it to run forever. I also want the younger folks to feel the joy I have felt. I get a total rush seeing that

Its a shame when folks do this, and it's even more of a shame that one of the same people is doing it here that just brought it right over here from his gig at e Philzone. I will never understand the hate

A music conversation would have been nice. I know now that Viva is the same and folks actually come here to talk music or be kind. RRG had been chasing me around for some reason as well. I just don't understand or reply

Slacker, what was the latest show you attended. I think mine was ZZ Topp and it was great, really impressive sound system and a nice open outdoor venue with plenty of room, new venue here in VA near Fredericksburg.

I listened to Papadosio's most viewed show on the archive.


Good sound quality.

 

Initial impression is that they play White boy early 90's Reggae-pre/post New Wave-Moog/synth-EOTW/Steely Dan smooth jazz-guitar jam music.  Some Particle Dude sounding stuff.

 

Mostly repetitive grooves, which is good in some situations.

 

Sounds like good music for an outdoors festie in the warm sun.  Or the night club dancefloor.

 

Not too deep, but listenable, IMHO.  Didn't have time to get through the whole show.

 

At least, that's how I heard it.  Granted, it was late night post-TXR show for me.

i like outside of the Jamband scene as well Mr. Timpane. I was poked at for my pic of new band in that too, but I really dig Highly Suspect. Again, 90's but rock. I must have a 90's thing.  Ha ha ha.
