The circumstances of the discovery are unfortunate, but its still cool. Apparently, there are many, many Mayan archeological sites down in southern Mexico and Central America just waiting to be uncovered and satellite imaging is the way these pyramids and other complexes swallowed by the jungle long ago are being re-discovered.
