Fake News: BuzzFeed Runs ‘Unverifiable’ Trump-Russia Claims
Left-leaning news outlet abandons all journalistic ethics in publishing explosive dossier
BuzzFeed's decision to publish unverified memos alleging that Russian operatives have compromising personal and financial information about President-elect Donald Trump has set off a fierce debate about the ethics of the decision and the responsibilities of journalists.
"This seems preposterous, appalling, opportunistic, and lacking in basic ethics at every level," media columnist Michael Wolff wrote. "Ethics are simple: you shouldn't publish what you don't know to be true."

I think that the revelation of DNC's plotting against Bernie was most likely the most damaging, regarding potential votes for Hillary.
I still don't get the whole "Lock her up! Lock her up!" stuff, though.
It is nice to have Russia and Wikileaks on your side, though.

Nothing to it? I guess it's
Nothing to it? I guess it's just coincidence that the Trump campaign intervened to change RNC platform regarding Ukraine?
How The Trump Campaign Weakened The Republican Platform On Aid To Ukraine
One of the questions raised over the course of this year's presidential race is about how a President Trump would deal with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
One reason to wonder: the Republican Party platform's new language on policy towards Ukraine.
When Republican Party leaders drafted the platform prior to their convention in Cleveland last month, they had relatively little input from the campaign of then-presumptive nominee Donald Trump on most issues — except when it came to a future Republican administration's stance on Ukraine.
It started when platform committee member Diana Denman tried to insert language calling for the U.S. to provide lethal defensive weapons to the Ukrainian government, which is fighting a separatist insurrection backed by Russia. Denman says she had no idea she was "going into a fire fight," calling it "an interesting exchange, to say the least."
Denman is a long time GOP activist from Texas. When she presented her proposal during a platform subcommittee meeting last month, "two gentleman," whom Denman said were part of the Trump campaign, came over, looked at the language, and asked that it be set aside for further review.

In a mail from February 2016, simply titled ‘speaking at the banks,’ Neera Tanden, the President and CEO of the Center for American Progress, suggests to John Podesta that Clinton "should just return the money" if she "lose[s] badly."

Top intelligence official James Clapper sides with Donald Trump, blasts Russia dossier leak as ‘extremely corrosive’
The U.S. intelligence community's top official has expressed "profound dismay" over an unverified document alleging that President-elect Donald Trump in 2013 hired prostitutes to perform "perverted" sex acts at a luxury hotel in Moscow.
James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence, said in a statement that he met with Trump Wednesday evening to discuss the unsubstantiated 35-page document, which was released in its entirety by BuzzFeed earlier this week.
"I expressed my profound dismay at the leaks that have been appearing in the press, and we both agreed that they are extremely corrosive and damaging to our national security," Clapper said, declining to comment on the credibility of the document, which is being investigated by the FBI.

Oppo Firm Behind Trump
Oppo Firm Behind Trump Dossier Is Also A Hired Gun For Planned Parenthood
The opposition research firm that hired a former British spy to dig up dirt on Donald Trump is the same shady outfit that was hired by Planned Parenthood to put a positive spin on videos showing the sale of baby parts.
The New York Times reported on Wednesday that Washington D.C.-based Fusion GPS is the firm that hired Christopher Steele, the former British spy who authored the salacious but unsubstantiated 35-page Trump dossier that was published by BuzzFeed on Tuesday.
