Watching and waiting for billy joe to come on

hello judit

Hi Bss! Hoping you guys are doing well.

I watched some of the preliminary stuff, got bored and left. Did Willie play music with his sons? That was cool a few weeks ago.

Hi Mr. Tofu Head. I've come and gone, haven't heard the Nelson family playing music today.

^^Agreed, Tofu.

Hey Judit!

And, if you're still here: Hi Bss!

Lukas played, then Micah. Lots of Willie and Lukas talking around the table. Card tricks and comedy during other segments. Easy to tune out/in.

Very enjoyable on my wireless headphones...

Hi Johnny! I tuned out when I found out billy joe was scratched from the lineup. Hope you all enjoyed it

I did see the too short part. Man, that was weird. It was like none of them knew who each other was.

One of my funny stories was keeping a copy of the Austin Statesman with Drunk and High Dave, Melissa and myself's picture top of the fold we saw in a newspaper machine while we stopped for gas heading to Red Rocks...it's a picture from the stage of the audience from Willy's 4th of July Picnic.

...anyways I grabbed a hat from Willie's 4th of July Picnic that I later met Willy months later while wearing the hat and quickly borrowed a sharpie and had him autograph...then proceeded to wear the hat while playing the round of my life and winning a significant golf tournament.

It was the day after the last ever Pink Floyd concert, "Live 8"...I was able to utilize Comfortably Numb as my swing thought the entire day, the trophy was a decanter.

Editor's note:  those events were 5 years apart [2003 & 2008]...though curiously, both on 4th of July weekends.
