The Mule NYE show got me into researching many of the songs/artists he covered that night. I was kinda disappointed w/the Bowie selection (Rebel Rebel, All the Young Dudes), despite reading how those 2 had significant Cultural impact, was hoping for something a little more groovy &/or obscure. Altho I was never a big Bowie fan, the 1 album I did own was Station to Station, & the 9" dance ep of Golden Years. Yes, those were the days when Disco was still kinda cool, before Sat Nite Fever, Clive Davis, Robert Stigwood, & the Bee Gees ruined it. But anyway, I listened to Station to Station while making breakfast this morning.
