I wasn't. I was hanging out with friends on my way to the airport to fly to L.A. to visit my folks. We stopped at Tommy's Joynt, I dropped just before we got there, we hung out and then my friends took me to SFO. It was very tidy that I was starting to level out as we went to the airport and I was easy as the plane took off. Pretty slick timing, actually. I took a bus from LAX to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and my dad picked me up. Hi dad.
I used to work across the street from tommy's, in the 1990s, in the business tower of the cathedral hill hotel. what a dump that office was. however, it was, as i said, directly across from tommy's. i had many a cheap after work and pre-show drink or three there. it was like being in a bukowski novel. also just a short walk or bus ride to the fillmore and great american and regency ballroom (i think that's what it is/was called). definitely a great and authentic SF place.

As well he should. Me and a bunch of buddies and others took over the upstairs room after a particularly ripping Warfield Garcia Band show one night.
Had a good old party up there.
Fun times, fun place.

Sounds like quite the first trip, judit. Kind of reminds me of the old Donovan song Fat Angel: Fly Translove Airlways, get you there on time.
