Thorium fuel cycle...

Well, that's quite a 180. Can you provide a synopsis of why you were anti-nuclear, the documentary content, and why you are now pro-nuclear? I always enjoy your posts/views, and I don't really even know what Thorium is. Science is not my strong suit. This documentary is being added to my list, but it may be a while before I can get to it. THX!

Ah, I clicked on the wiki leaks links. Thorium is the new Uranium. Sounds like an improvement, but all that stuff is way over my head. I'm waiting for the hidden ancient technology to be revealed wink

There's something going on here, but we don't know what it is, do we ...Mr. Jones.

changed my mind when one of our good friends who worked at oak ridge told me about the molten salt a few years ago over dinner.

this stuff is world changing.

Calling bullshit here.

The history of the nuclear industry and the materials it manufactures and deals in is one of ever-present threat, criminally irresponsible waste management, and massive public deception.

Oak Ridge and the others in Nuclear Weapons Complex have been playing with thorium reactors since the 50's. Nothing new to see here but the same old lies, and the empty promise of "atoms for peace".

>now I'm pro nuclear power.<

um about that nuclear waste brah....where/how/what do we store it?

oh 80,000 years, what could happen?

>> oh 80,000 years, what could happen?

Climate change from using fossil fuels instead of nuclear?

and the movie is about so much more.

dreams.
