million dollar idea?

Forums:

Ok, how 'bout a triangular-shaped Ziploc bag? It might be a stupid idea, but I'd bet it'd sell.

For that last slice of pizza. (Yeah I know that's never a problem if you have teens or other stoners around.)

And if you were really inventive, you could put a little airlock seal on it so you could blow up the bag a little bit to keep the top of the slice from sticking to the bag.

Otherwise, how do you store it for later? (And I know, connoisseur pizza guys will not eat reheated slices, but what about the ret of us?)

Foil wrap is not bad, but usually leaks air. Tupperware is too big and usually not the right shape. If it came in a box, the box never fits right in the fridge.

What's your latest million bucks invention (that you haven't forgotten by the time you put the bong down)?

I got one for you.

An adjustable Allen(hex) wrench. It's easy to grab the wrong size.

Like the Triangular ziploc concept.  I wouldn't buy them,  but a great idea.

Adjustable Allen key, nope... Maybe that one just won't see the Market.

In Jerseyland,  we just purchase a new slice of Pizza when desired.

Dehydrated water.

Triangular pizza bags are already on the market;

someones already thought of everything.

foil wrap is the way

and you can totally reheat pizza to be almost as good as fresh from a slice shop...put slice in a cast iron pan coated w lots of olive oil, cook on medium low heat, after a few min transfer cast iron pan to the oven set to broil for a few min, then switch back and forth until the cheese is melted by the broiler and the bottom is hot and crispy from the cast iron on the stovetop.

I only eat thin square cut tavern style chicago pizza.

I find popping an old slice in the toaster oven for 4 mins on relatively high works just about perfect for reheating.

How about Hex shaped pizza?!

I have a socket that is filled with all of these metal pins that push in when you put the socket over a nut and adjust to each size nut by doing that. Pretty cool device, even will wrap around stuff that is damaged.

great idea with the triangular bag, but why stop there, Roll up Sammies are big now, special size for those, you could be the specialty bag man

<great idea with the triangular bag, but why stop there,>

Are there round Ziplocs? I'm not sure what one would put in them, but I'm not stoned yet, so...

Ok.. this is a stretch, but a banana shaped Ziploc would stop a banana from ripening too fast, and you could put the extra piece of the banana in it if you only ate half.

My million dollar idea starts with a million dollars. Invest it an S&P 500 index fund, live off the annual gains ($80-100k), and die with the principal intact.

Pizza Thermos ~ pizza shaped thermos to keep your slices hot.

since it hasn't been made yet, i roll a slice up, wrap aluminum foil around it and slide it into a convention thermos. stays warm, but doesn't retain crispness.

How bout I find a way to deliver this non- native to Louisiana stone and you sculpture ( size at your description, of course)an Allen (hex- head) wrench  inside the pizza shaped  ziplocked baggie .

If you * paint/sculpture  your masterpiece,  we share a beer tasting mead sometime like that other time.

I meant to type discretion,  not description.  I m high as fuck on some unknown strain fresh sativa . Please excuse me.

Jaz - please investigate the pizza thermos idea

I like the pizza bag triangle, but don't like that fact that plastic bags are not recyclable and will eventually end up in the ocean, somehow, some way.

My idea (who wants to help me develop this?) > Convince cigarette manufacturers to replace the awful non-biodegradable filters with a filter made from dried mushrooms (after testing that mushrooms actually would filter in the same way the current filters do).

Feel free to analyze this idea, have always wanted to discuss pros / cons of development and how to take it to market.

LOLO - I like the recycle idea. Maybe Ziploc pizza bags made from used Ziploc pizza bags!

Getting rid of cig filters -- another great idea -- but burnt mycelium in the lungs sounds like a potential health risk. Smoker might morph into a pod of some sort like in a horror flick.

^^^ LOL

Maybe these ideas *are* better suited for film instead of reality. ;)

^ The cig filter thing is interesting but the fungus might have allergenic properties for some.  Maybe organic cotton and paper to replace the fiberglass (or whatever it is) in current filters.

You'd need a industrial textile engineer to figure out the weave process.  But there have already been quirky cig filters over the years,  like the Parliaments with the plastic chamber or Tareytons with the layer of charcoal powder.

People don't smoke as much these days,  compared to the 1970's when every office building, airport and plane had ashtrays.

...and theaters...

The small triangle pieces usually go first at Barnaby's

Bed mattress that can be created with individual "modules" that can be exchanged until it's dialed in for any given person particular preferences.

Sleep number kind of already does this with their air mattress + foam layers that can be customized, but haven't seen more traditional / solid type matresses.

Someone's probably already done it,  but the biodegradable cig filter could be made of some rice starch bio-plastic like something between a Cheeze Doodle and those Shrimp Chips that you throw in the Wok,  and they expand to styrofoam-ish snack chip.

Sorta like the biodegradable 'packing peanut' that already exists.

I have a hunch that Philip Morris and similar 'Big Tobacco' are heavily invested in all those disposable nicotine vape E-cigs.  That's some modern technology.

I will.  That was a drunk post last night. Margaritas.

Orange flavored toothpaste that wouldn't make OJ taste like ass after brushing.

banana condom zip lock for bananas?

Magnum size for cucumbers?

Houses built out of refrigerators and covered with adobe. Extra thick walls and room for more beer.

Electric cars with pop in/pop out battery packs. Instead of going to the gas station for dino juice or a charging station for a loooong charge, go to your friendly (hopefully) electric car battery exchange station.  In 5 min. or less the trained attendant will pop out your battery pack and put it on the charger. He/she will select a charged battery from their stock and pop it in. Run your card or phone and you're done.

>>>>>>What's your latest million bucks invention (that you haven't forgotten by the time you put the bong down)?

A bong-cleaning robot. It will roll up, you remove a clean bong from its nest and replace it with a dirty one. The bongbot goes off in the corner or wherever to clean the bong - it has a couple of internal tanks with hot water and solvent.

I'm with you as far as NY style goes.   It's infuriating to get a slice that literally has a couple of inches of no cheese with just crust.  Not looking to eat a bialy when ordering a pizza.

I also like the middle pieces of the pizza above, but I there's something a bit different about a good tavern or Detroit style pizza crust that sets it above the NY style for just eating the crust itself.  Not sure if there's more butter in it or what, but it's typically denser and crispier without being overcooked.  Not saying I'd eat 2" of this kind of crust without cheese either.

Butter in pizza crust? Is this even a thing?

^yes. depending on style of pizza.
