I only hooked the keys/key ring to something that was quickly at hand and off the ground that may help show some degree of 'levitation'. While I agree and most of my keys also have no magnetic characteristics, the three (3) that readily did/do are for my vehicle's roof top carrier (Yakima), hitch-mount bike rack/carrier (Allen), and a relatively nondescript locking gas cap, all of which fall into the same relative manufacturing vein of lower-security applications that do not start your car or open doors to your residence. Steel alloys are very good but not for all applications, "quite obviously" .
To answer your question, the oldest key of the 3 came to be in the early 2000's (gas cap), then 2008 (via Yakima carrier), and the newest is from January of this year (Allen bike rack).

Hers looked like brass. I meant to say "most".
I thought maybe our car keys would. Neither they, nor any of the mystery keys in the junk drawer, react (and those are ancient).
Any idea how long ago those were cut?

"Just found out about it at lunch." Obviously didn't have the sense to try it our beforehand making an ass of herself in public and on camera.
"Yeah, if somebody could explain this, that would be great.” That's easy, hon - you're an idiot.
I wonder if she ever traveled out of her county to see a show? That might make a difference.
MAGA't - I like that.
