Im getting my left non dominating shoulder rotator cuff fixed.
Been complete tear for 3 months. Twist the wrong way and the pain level is a 12 for 10-15 seconds.
Doctor ask do you want pills? Fuck you. No by the time I would get to em the pain is gone.
I did my research and he is the best on the east coast.
I know it';s not serious but I am a nervous wreck.
Is blowing an 8 ball tonight a good Idea??

I trashed my dominant side in '19 and busted my ass at PT to avoid surgery. So far, so good.
It's like tangled hangers occasionally. And crunchy. Very crunchy.
But I haven't wanted to chew it off in quite a while.

Had my right cuff repaired and biceps tendon screwed back on in November, left one on deck for October.
the pain of the injury itself was way worse than the recovery was. I took that inflatable sling off after the third day and never looked back. Just move slowly and deliberately. Sleeping by far the most difficult, but I am halfway there and already feel like I could pitch five or six innings again.

I had rotator cuff surgery and I agree the recovery pain was less than the injury pain. Have some extra pillows so you can prop your arm at a level that is less weight on your shoulder and sleep will come easier until you're recovered entirely.

I'll never forget the anesthesiologist for my back surgery. He looked around the room like he was checking no one else was there, looked at me and said, "Today, we're gonna do some goooooooood drugs. How do ya wanna feel? I'll show ya what I got." Cracked me up big time. Which I really needed at the time.
Then he came in a few days later and said "Hey, I hear you don't have insurance and your paying for this. I tell ya what I'll do. I'm gonna send you a bill. You pay half of it within 30 days and I'll forget the rest." I'm so grateful to that man.

no no no tear bone spur into my tendon, blocking even the mri and the dr was pumped
removed mulit spurs and cleaned scar tissue
start rehab on monday
dr said that was some painful shit worse than a tear
i might be fishing by the sept - october mullet run
i tod the anesthesiologist i was high as a banana a phrase i have used for 40 years she said she has never heard that phrase
