Tears for Fears Announce 2022 US and UK Tour
Tears for Fears have announced they’ll be going on an extensive tour for the Summer of 2022. The duo made up of Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, will begin the tour with 21 shows slated throughout the U.S. during May and June. For their U.S. dates, Tears for Fears will be joined by American quartet Garbage. They’ll then head across the pond to play 16 shows in the U.K. in July, which will feature support from singer-songwriter Allison Moyet.
The tour is in support of their upcoming new album, The Tipping Point, which is set to release on Feb. 5 via Concord Records. The project marks their first full-length studio release in almost two decades, following 2004’s Everybody Loves A Happy Ending.
Find tickets to the upcoming shows here.

I'd go see Tears For Fears again. Each time I've seen them perform, I've walked away very satisfied and smiling. I would wager most people on this board would do the same.
One of my early pandemic joys when Tears For Fears' Chad Smith dropped this version of Mad World with his daughter Diva. Such a lovely song.

Well, if we're going to
There's not too much on my calender coming up, a few small jazz shows around the area and one GREAT one with the brilliant Jazzmeia Horn in Santa Cruz.
Lettuce at the Fillmore on Dec. 10th would be a funky good time and I haven't been in that legendary room in a long time so I may make that one, and I am looking forward to seeing X at the Independent in SF in December (they're also doing some other west coast dates) and I'll also likely find myself at one of the Ty Segall shows he's doing at the Chapel in SF at the end of December.
And if we're going to mention high end cover bands, I think this one looks interesting...
That's a damn good band, and I'd expect them to do a good job with that music...

I didn't see any mention of where those live outdoor shows in SF would be.
I'm betting this is tied into the city pumping money to upgrade Jerry Garcia Amphitheatre, so they can start using it for ticketed events.
The city of San Francisco is involved? Palms are being greased & beaks are being wetted on this deal for sure.
And $200 for a VIP package......,, for Tom Hamilton & Holly Bowling?
You have to admire their chutzpah for even offering that deal.

So, the announcement for Ryan
So, the announcement for Ryan Adams' New Jersey show was made last night with Artist fan tickets going on sale this morning at 10am edt. The ticketing site crashed hard from ticket requests and was down for about 25 mins. I was doing something else so I kept refreshing, figuring that either the web site would come back up or I would call the box office when it opened at 11am. I saw the tab on my browser change to a new header and looked at the page, clicked the tickets button and was expecting the site to go down again. It didn't and to my wondrous eyes appeared, the two front row center tickets. Sometimes having low expectations works out. :-)
