OMG this has got to be a joke? ;-)

Dammit, now I'll need to go to this just to say I did.

No joke!

It wouldn't be summer without SCI in Colorado. The tradition continues with 5 Incidents across two of our most cherished venues: July 12 & 13 at Dillon Amphitheater, followed by July 15, 16, 17 at Red Rocks. We are thrilled to share the stage with Yonder Mountain String Band (Fri), Leftover Salmon (Sat), and a special "Phil Lesh Incident'' (Sun) to close out the Red Rocks weekend!

Pre-sale tickets for both Dillon & Red Rocks go on sale next Tuesday, March 15, at 11am MT via AXS.com. A public on-sale will follow on Friday, March 18, at 10am MT. We can't wait to groove with you this summer in Colorado!

Looks like 3 great nights !!!
would love to be at all 3

Thanks Zooey -- I had heard the rumor about Dillon amphi... and there's another rumor floating that Phil will go there, too. We'll see.

shit , haven't quit my job in years.... but somethin' bout the Frosted Phil shows and Red Rocks gettin' me mighty Itchy

All I can recommend is: Book lodging before tickets!

Solid

so, 2 bass players?

or moose plays kazoo for the night?

What will this look like? Just Phil sitting in with STI for an opening set of GD songs? A mix of other "friends" and some Stringers? And likely just one set with Phil?

No spot taken, but it's cool to see Phil back in the world and people getting excited about it.

LONG LIVE PHIL LESH!!!

so, 2 bass players?<<<<

Perhaps you're coming at this from the wrong direction.

Instead, they'd be just one bass player away from covering Big Bottom!

Big SCI fan here. Looking forward to this. I've seen Keith do a tune with Tony Hall and it was unremarkable. It still sounded like one bass player.

I'm hoping for one big set from each band.

Gonna try and make this one.

First time at Red Rocks.

Where should I get a room?

For conventional hotels, Golden or Lakewood... those are near the train lines that go to the airport.

No where to stay at Morrison, which is closest town to Red Rocks.

Campground to the east of RR is sold out.  Cheeseheads know that SCI always plays RR in July.

I think Golden. The train museum there has been on my bucket list since I heard of it awhile ago.

I like Golden too! There's a river that runs through the middle of town, and it's a real town, not a suburb like Lakewood.

Better pricing in Lakewood area hotels but if you want some walkability and charm, stay in Golden.

Campground to the east of RR is sold out.<<<

The developed Chief Hosa campground still has tent sites available.  It's the most cumbersome / IT-jargon-esque system I've EVER come across!

FYI:  the developed campground is not the same dispersed camping on the north side of the highway as back in the day.

If the pattern holds, I suspect the Sunday show will be an early start ...

Heading to Denver to see my son this summer, this may be doable

more PLF Colorado dates to drop?

Nailed 3rd Row Tix for the Phil Lesh Incident!!

My sister lives about 8 miles from RR. You could ride a bike if you wanted. Never seen a shoe there. But will most likely pass on this.

Haven't been to RR in two years. I'm taking this as a sign. We're in.
