and finally... here's a list of the personnel in Jerry's band 40 years ago, but unfortunately I have few vivid recollections of the evening, except that it was super crowded because tons of fans were sneaking in with easy-to-forge hand stamps...
Jerry Garcia - guitar, vocals; John Kahn - bass; Melvin Seals - keyboards; Jimmy Warren - keyboards; Bill Kreutzmann - drums; Liz Stires - backing vocals; Julie Stafford - backing vocals

I'm definitely attending both of JMF's Arcata shows. Heck, it's only a 90-minute drive for me!
FYI... here's the 2 shows that JMF is apparently recreating on April 1 & 2:
1982/3/18 - Jerry Garcia Band - Mojo's nightclub, Arcata, CA
1982/3/19 - Jerry Garcia Band - Mojo's nightclub, Arcata, CA
And, as an added bonus, I actually attended one of those two Jerry Band shows at Mojo's... and that's no April Fool's!
Mojo's was a cool but short-lived nightclub in Arcata in the late '70s and early '80s... https://jerrygarciasbrokendownpalaces.blogspot.com/2012/08/mojos-856-10t...
Audio of the 3/18/1982 show was JUST uploaded to YouTube less than 2 weeks ago... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5-JFySheFs

That's great Gary. A friend
That's great Gary. A friend of mine went to both shows in '82, but missed the next night in Garberville, which was another ripper...
Best I could do was see Phish there in '91 when it was called the International Beer Garden. I think the place held about 200 people.
Have fun at the shows!
