How many shows has he played with Bobby? It has to be well over 2,000. He's definitely played way more than any GD keyboardist, between Rat Dog and all the other bands. I once tried to figure it out in Bobby Base, but I gave up.
I have a friend, who has played with live with Phil before, who could be Chimenti's twin brother. It is amazing how many people in certain situations great him as Jeff and think when he says he isn't him don't believe him.
Count me in as a big fan, going back a long time. He's got a classical touch, all the jazz chops, and he can drive the band when he wants to. I'm glad he's been along for the ride with Bobby this whole time and I think he's been given more free reign over the years. In fact I think he is music director for the Wolf Pack Horns aspect of Bobby's shows, and I suspect he does a bit of arranging for D&C too.
Excellent research Harold, thanks for looking that up.

That being said, Chimenti is solid and versatile.

I have wondered over the years if Jerry was alive and the GD continued if Jeff would have ended up in the band eventually?

Chimenti Cricket is the best. He and Russo would hijack Further on a nightly basis and bring the band to their higher calling !
