Good timing bringing this up again. First cataract surgery went really well. Next one is tomorrow. FIrst one the lens is for distance vision (those are birds on trees really far away) the second will be for "near" (~18"). My brain's going to be busy adapting, accommodating, adjusting. I'm up for it. I'm pretty sure I'll still need glasses for reading and fine handwork and art, but I'm used to them and it's okay.
