Northern nights music festival in Humboldt county is using ketamine on patrons who loose their shit on Mdma and psychedelics . I witnessed it first hand security tackles the person holds them down with 5 people then medical shoots them up and fire straps them down and halls them out. This is an event put on by bay area promoters. i also witnessed security pummel a guy a little drunk who would not follow directions. Then they did the same thing to the wife after she protested ,Most fucked up thing i have seen at an event in years. I know all this first hand. Some Old school reggae staff put this on that is how I attended

Sounds like that old school reggae staff is a little loose on the cannon.
This is an EDM/weed fest, right? I thought some kid & his "company" created & promotes this event. Either way, it's funny that's how they're handling medical & security issues.
EDM events have traditionally been very difficult to put on, LOTS of zaniness on many levels. It's been a few years since I've been around that scene, but in my experience Insomniac was by far the best organized, the best prepared and operating with the best intentions at presenting EDM events.
Maybe some lessons are still to be learned by that old school reggae staff & youngsters thinking they know how to put on events.

Today's youth sure seem clueless, but In all fairness I'd say that 45 years ago most 65-year-olds were likely saying the same thing about us.
And 45 years before that it was probably more or less the same again.
And on & on.
That's where those who lead the youth (or put on large youth-oriented events) need to do it the right way.
Not slam them down and drug them.
Unless they're into that sort of thing.

That was my first time back working in a long time, and for a number of reasons will almost certainly be my last.
Besides being an elder who is very unimpressed with the youth running things these days (see how I did that?) I also had quite the experience after the show that was IMO a very clear sign that after 37 years it's time to hang up the cleats.
Good thing I have health insurance.

much of The staff seems ill equipped =- that was my 5th shoreline show this year - that lawn season pass is working out pretty well

Stevie nicks was freaking awesome, dead & co twice was a mixed bag for me - it is fun to see happy people, but......, Carlos Santana is Carlos - 54 years after frost for me -, and then mtv rock - (by leaving after the show started it took me all of 10 minutes from my house till i had parked very close to the entrance
