Jerry and John Kahn, acoustic, Eugene 1982

Forums:

This is from 6/6/82 at South Eugene High School. I went to the night before, same place.  They were fine and it was very fun. I know I have excellent tapes of both somewhere...

Thanks for posting that Judit. This has been my thought about that since I was in HS in the '80's.:

"When you live in a cool city like Eugene, OR and not Podunk, NY, Jerry Garcia plays at your high school."

Sweet, thanks for posting.  I saw Jerry's solo acoustic show on 4/10/82 at the Capitol in Passaic and the next day's as well, but he brought John Kahn out with him for night #2.  I remember when the Dead played West High Auditorium in Alaska back in 1980 and we thought about a cross country road trip.  That didn't happen, but I did visit West High a few years back when up in Alaska.  High School  Jerry or the Dead is the best--tiny with the basketball hoops on each end!
