They probably will take the House so holding onto the Senate is all the more important.    The House will be a real clown fest with talk of retaliation investigations and committees.  I wouldn't put it past them to start impeachment proceedings.

The Dems have blown it.  And with the overall stupidity of the red state electorates, we can begin to say goodbye to democracy as the GQP takes control.  Sad but true.

Please know this:  the only reason Trump has not been indicted is Merick Garland.  It is a political issue and it is too divisive.

If the Republican win The White House and The Congress in 2024 it wil be the end of the Republic as we know it.  Without a Supreme Court to overturn  unconstitutional laws we could see a wave of legislation aimed at curbing the rights of minorities.  Folks, it's weird but true.  They could overturn Jim Crow, integration, all of it.

Someone appeals a Jim Crow law to the Supreme Court and it is overturned.  Game over.  That's how it works.

Reading someone their rights is no longer necessary.  Supreme Court says it, its's the law.  

Anything not in The Constitution can be overturned by The Supreme Court and they have proved to be radical and willing to overturn precedent.

He did so many things that are illegal where to start is the hard part.  Giving states first shot is probably the plan.

The Supreme Court already ruled in two prior emoluments cases, a third wouldn't stand a chance.

Wall made a similar argument in Trump v. District of Columbia, in which the District and Maryland also alleged violations of the emoluments clauses. After a federal district court in Maryland allowed the case to go forward, Trump asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit for an order that would require the district court either to allow an immediate appeal or to dismiss the case, but the full 4th Circuit rejected that request. Trump then went to the Supreme Court in early September, but in his reply brief, filed in late December, Wall again recommended that the justices “hold the petition until it becomes moot after the inauguration, and then grant certiorari and vacate under” Munsingwear. Any indictment must be airtight and involve serious crimes, not simple corruption. 

Tax Fraud charges should at least rack up something. Even his former fix-it man lawyer (Cohen) said it'd be easiest/best to hit him with that "smaller" stuff, similar to Al Capone's ultimate downfall (aside from long-suffering from Syphilis in prison)

I don't know about that. I have made my travel arrangements to get home in time to VOTE on November 8. But I live in San Francisco, and my vote will just be one more stating most clearly that California will not be a party to, or put up with, this fascist garbage.

That and the Supreme Court. Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi were all told by several lower courts to create one majority minority districts and the Supreme court blocked it without comment. They will revisit the case over the next two years and decide but the election still holds. This is the most corrupt Supreme Court in my lifetime.

Epic Burn. Liz Cheney campaigned against Kari Lake and even ran some ads against her. When it happened Lake went on Twitter to thank Cheney saying that it was her best fund raising day and that having Cheney against her was the best thing to happen to her campaign. Cheney waited until yesterday to reply.

Dunno folks.  A lot of people got this very wrong and thank goodness.  Feeling more optimistic about the Country now than I have in 6++ years.  Trump announces tonight, which in my humble opinion, secures a D victory in '24.  DeSantis plays very well in Florida and the confederate states but not enough to win the electoral college.  2 years of Hunter's laptop and a R version of 1/6 committee will be their demise in '24.  Gen Z only gets bigger and they may hate R more than me - which is a high bar
