I knew right away she was not like other girls..

Not available in Tennessee.

Bertha into Brown-eyed Women to start is pretty funny

Dee's lounge is in Nashville, TN

Bertha trivia: Melody Walker (with the long blue hair) wrote Crooked Tree with Molly Tuttle

these folks are damn good. I'd see them in a heartbeat.

That was fun. They're on it!

So much more fun than Dead and Co LLC

Looks fun like what that fiddle is doing

Now I'm going to be imagining Bobby in drag all day.

fucking awesome

I love this!!!!  What a great take!   I always suspected Jerry's hair was bright blue, but he dyed it black to be more incognito.....lol

Lindsay Lou is the one wearing a blonde wig, and Milly Raccoon is on the fiddle. Not sure who the other band members are.

Looks like a great time.

I don't see that they have a website

Do they do songs other than the female specific ?

Wharf Rat - I've got a girl her name Bonny Lee I know that she's been true to me

Minglewood- my number one occupation is stealing women from their men

LLR - felt your side of bed

They would all be fun

Pretty sure the band *just* formed very recently to fundraise, but if they get traction you might see a website and more songs added to their catalog.

Melody Walker is great! First time I heard her was at Dead On The Creek. Maybe 08 or 09. Her band Front Country with Jacob Goopman was awesome and I've been a fan since. She co wrote four songs on Molly Tuttle's Grammy winner album. This new idea has good heart and good marketing all built in for some possible bigger stages. The Democratic Party could use Bertha easily for the next 17 months.

Thought this was a 1995 thread.

It never ends.

It will go on forever.

Truly, we are everywhere.

Not until Ru Paul and Tyler Perry are the background vocalists in the Jerry Garcia Drag Band.

^^^I don't see that they have a website^^

They have an instagram account @gratefuldrag

This is Great! Thank you for sharing.  BTW, if anyone on here uses instagram and wants to link up I'm @sunshinepsychonaut

Drag is an art form that has never particularly interested me, but now I want to notice and support. Because I am so angry and disgusted by the so-called "Christian" fascist loudmouth minority in this country that I want to do whatever little bit I can to thwart their hateful agenda.

watched the whole show, grate phun... really good musicians and they rocked...

Ha!! And I thought this thread was about Weir’s dragging tempos. Which are worse than ever.

Anyway, my bad.

may they be safe from terrorism
