Ted "the Unabomber" Kaczynski has passed on. He might have been a murderous lunatic, but at least his heart was in the right place.
Back in my Earth First! days, we used to make and sell t-shirts to raise money. Our top seller was a design I came up with that looked like this:
This was before the dude got caught when I was living in a cabin in the woods of Montana too. Rumor had it that Ted had attended some Deep Ecology conferences in Missoula we helped organize. Nobody knew him, but we were all shitting bricks to find out the dude was a local and the fear of the FBI knocking down the door was palpable.

Ranking high on our terrorist bottom feeders list produced by this country. Maybe only eclipsed by the OKC bomber dead dude. Yeah, nope. He was both a murderous lunatic and also his "heart" was in the wrong place as he actively believed things like "Those who work against racism, sexism, and homophobia similarly are acting as the System's enforcers: They help the system to suppress the deviant racist, sexist, and homophobic attitudes that cause problems for the system."
If that's not clear - Ted is saying those who work against racism, sexism, and homophobia are enforcers for the system he wants destroyed. So in Ted's world fighting against racism, sexism, and homophobia are doing evil deeds since to his mind they are working against the only righteous fight i.e. against "the system" as Ted defines it.
Dude can rot.
