Do you dress differently for different bands or venues?

Forums:

I wore slacks and a collared shirt instead of jeans and t-shirt when we

saw Yusuf at the Davies Symphony Hall.

I do not - much to my wife's dismay at times

If I go the Port Chester Phil run, I am going to wear a more stunning dress than Stanley.

Perhaps a slinky Black sequined evening gown with a side-slit, or maybe a red one.

My legs are great.

zoners do pick out outfits like pre-planned and shit.

Fanny packs are for outdoors only.

What's the point is no one can see it?

i wore a suit to the opera last month.... i looked smashing.

Always dressed to the 9's... regardless

Long sleeves for outdoor shows in the fall and t-shirts for sweaty, packed indoor shows.

What are "slacks"?

When attending a jam band show I wear clothes that I would also use to clean up a spilled beer.

you have fat legs

Another great choice of thread topic for Slacker.

For the Last Waltz show last week at MGM Grande i wore a pair of khaki slacks and a dress shirt with loafers, most shows its shorts, sneakers and a tee shirt.

Fog, I just want to apologize for any long term psychiatric damage done when making fun of your appearance in the Tulsa pic.

>My legs are great.

I can attest to that.  Those are some stunning gams.

I've never been one to put on a costume to go to a show. Everyday clothing is just fine.

Accepted.

Timmy, i'd also like to apologize for trolling you with criticism  all these years and hope its not left any long term psychiatric damage..

Oof.

Fog, it's posts like that make me feel a mixture of embarrassment and pity for you.

lol

I do... It depends on who I am going to see and what venue.. I'm so girly ~ I love to dress up lol!

i nearly always dress the same unless its a show im in charge of, then i wear show clothes, and shoes....otherwise - its day to day wear which is CA - SU - AL.....

I ruined a nice pair of dress shoes during a Furthur show at the Cuthbert in 2010.  I had to work that day and raced down to Eugene directly from work to catch the show and didn't pack any other shoes.  The second set was in the middle of a deluge of biblical proportions.  I tried to wrap up my shoes in a rain jacket, but it was too little, too late and they were ruined.  At least I got an epic Terrapin Suite and Mountain Song.

>>Oof.

Belittling people doesn't make you any less of a douchebag, keep at it though.

>>>>Belittling people

I wasn't trying to make you feel unimportant.  Sorry if that's how you took my pity/embarrassment.

Wow. OP just got called out on another board over his wardrobe: https://www.phantasytour.com/bands/phish/threads/4284073/people-who-say-...

>>>What are "slacks"?

Trousers

I like Face on Mars dbmb style. He asks questions.

Depending on season/weather is what decides it, although, it frequently comes down to a least possibly clothed sitch, which entails a single skirt dress.

It's kind of a drag to redress after shows. Ultimately worth it, still (:

For non dancey shows, i go with what feels good to me, and what will be sexy for Alex to enjoy as well
