>Me my crew 24/7 fishing with a lot of weed. 4 Days of bliss.<
Florida hippies love to fish. When I was exiled to Boca Raton one year for a job I would often come home after work and fish from the nearby beach. Mumbo Gumbo State Park -- it was a secluded spot and scenic, even thought he sun set behind me (I was used to Pacific Ocean sunsets). Didn't catch anything. Ever. Tried this bait and that bait. Tried this hook and that hook. A couple months went by. Nothing. But kept going back as the spot was so nice. One day I notice something dark swimmin way out in the water. Probably I shark, I thought. And after a short while, a round head pops up a hundred yards out -- then a neck, and then a body fully dressed in a wetsuit emerged from the waves. Like he was walking on water, as he was still pretty far offshore. Very strange sight. Guy gradually walks right over to me, shakes his head, says," You'll never catch anything here -- it's just shallow all the way out. Go on over there past this sandbar to that small pier." Then walks back in the sea and swims off. Thanks, dude.
Coolest part of the trip is we fished a no moon phase. The stars were un describable 85 miles from land.
The bait fish (mainly flying fish) were attracted to our boat lights. Thousands of Juvenile porpoise 3-5 footers, chasing and eating bait till sunrise. You would see 5-10 at any given moment. .
Laying in my bunk all you could hear is squeaking and clicking as they all were communicating.
Heart attacks or not, there is no way anyone is keeping me from my yearly trip. I will just take it a lil slower that what I have in the past.
Initial reports are limits of Blackfin tunas in the 25 pound class range. Limiting out at 70 per trip along with the usual fare of snapper and groupers.
Seas will be 1-3 feet and 80/70 highs and lows. Perfect

we keep 100 pounds out for
we keep 100 pounds out for family, friends, and neighbors.
The rest is put into 1 to 1.5 pound vacuumed sealed bags and put in our big 6 foot deep freezer. We made 414 packages today.
It looks like a lot and we raped the sea but not one oz will go to waste. We will eat them by September. We do make some killer tacos over here too.
We also have about 300# of kingfish we will smoke over the next 3 days too. Stinkin up the neighborhood.......in a good way.
