RIP Donald Sutherland

Forums:

Solid body of work and a lengthy career.

The Eagle has Landed has been a favorite of mine since the 70s. I love those 70s all Star cast films. He was incredible

>>>Eagle has Landed

I'll always remember when he got off the plane and the german shephard ran at him and he just stood there whistled and pointed his finger and the dog just stopped. Then his companion said "If this was the middle ages you would be killed for being witch." For some reason I always remember that scene.

My favorites were Klut and him playing JP Getty in a limited series. What a POS Getty was and Sutherland made you hate him.

Not the obituary I wanted to read today.

I won't go schizo, will I?

RIP Professor  Jennings

I always loved him as Oddball in Kelly's Heroes.

Invasion of the body snatchers gave me he creeps BIG TIME

Another legend gone.....

He's one of very few actors I've liked in every film I've seen him in.

RIP Donald Sutherland.

Loved Sutherland. Great actor and a class act.

I've loved Sutherland ever since I was 10 and saw Kelly's Heroes & MASH as a double bill at a drive-in. To this day I still do that little Hawkeye whistle.

I'm not a big movie guy, but he's one of those actors who if I see he's in a movie I'll think I should watch it. He was in many of my favorite movies, including MASH, The Dirty Dozen, Kelly's Heroes, Animal House & Ordinary People.

Donald Sutherland was definitely a pro from Dover.

On it goes.

Invasion of the body snatchers gave me he creeps BIG TIME>>

One of the great remakes of all time & the banjo tracks belong to Garcia.

I still do that little Hawkeye whistle.<<<<

So do I

Don't hit me with those negative waves so early in the morning

rip

I have to admit to calling myself the pro from Dover on a few introductions, and occasions

he considered himself ugly
