In this installment of "what the fuck is wrong with people": Road Rage.
We flew back to Portland yesterday after a three-week trip and took a Lyft from the airport. We were stopped at an intersection when a big black pickup truck comes zooming up right behind us flashing its lights and honking the horn. Have no idea what the guy's problem was and didn't see the Lyft driver do anything out of the ordinary, but when we turned at the intersection, the truck followed with some extreme tailgating. The truck then started getting next to us and swerving as to run our car off the road. He then pulled sort of in front of us blocking the path, rolled down the window, and hurled full soda bottles at the car. They hit hard and thought at first we got side swiped. The dude then just took off, but we managed to get his license plate and called 911, who took down the plate number and description. The bottles put some big dents in the driver's nearly brand new Subaru Forester.
Glad we didn't get shot and also glad the Lyft driver didn't escalate the situation. He said he would have gone after him if he didn't have passengers. What the fuck is wrong with people to put other people's lives in real danger over some perceived slight?

I got shot at in WA state 2 years ago, missed the truck to upper left, just some random well armed big dude walking out from behind a bridge embankment... ended up carjacked the folks next to me!

Yes, this week on I 75 in
Yes, this week on I 75 in Ohio. Passed a car going 5 below the limit in the fast lane with a girl on her phone. Nothing crazy just an inside middle lane pass and in a mile I pulled back into the fast lane put my cruise control back on at 80.
I notice the car start flashing lights on and off, pulled around us and flipped my brother off with the hand her phone was in and the other hand had a coffee and a lit cigarette. She was driving with her knee at 80 now.
She swerved a few times, got in front of us and started breaking over and over. I dropped my speed to 60 and got in the slow lane for a few and let her fuck right the fuck off.
People are assholes

Lots of aggressive truck
Lots of aggressive truck drivers in Oklahoma, but like Tim, a few weeks ago it was a female. I didn't get over from the passing lane fast enough. She got in front of me and started braking. I did the same thing, slowed down and let her blow some steam off. Summer heat and humidity doesn't seem to help matters.
