The bullet trajectory somehow looks off to nip the top of the ear. I wonder if it's a different bullet.

Retry to fit.

Retry, indeed!

Wait. What?

NYT photographer caught this image.

did trump sharpie that?

It's hard to tell. The bullet is evidently already past the ear and looks to me to have passed behind his head. The ear doesn't look to be cut yet.

I saw this image on CBS news and Googled it.

I've seen reports that the plexiglass that is up to shield him shattered and that is what cut his ear but not sure if that is real since the NY Post had no problem saying the shooter was Chinese.

I feel bad if I find myself making assumptions about someone based on how they look.

No such issue arises if I see someone reading the Post.cheeky

The equivalent of an airball for a would-be assassin.

Never mind. Wrong ear.

Ha ha ha.

Picture is taken from below, if the camera rose up to the same height it'd be the correct level to match up.

The teleprompter theory, that'd have to be one magic piece of glass to curve around the head.

Almost like a "magic glass"

I simply missed on my topic. Missed by a mile.

His time spent in the world of professional wrestling is invaluable for understanding the path he has cut through the GOP primary field—because the playbook employed by Trump over the past several months bears an uncanny resemblance to the storytelling and character-building stratagem of professional wrestling.

From WrestleTalk

There’s an old adage in wrestling that red equals green.

...Blood running over a wrestler’s face, forming a crimson mask and creating an image that is somehow both terrifying and sympathetic, almost as if we need that stuff to live and here it is, buckets of it, all over the mat.

...Blood in wrestling has been used to shock audiences for years, creating the kind of visceral response that gets people talking which usually increases ticket sales and has people coming from miles around to see the spectacle. But it also did something much more useful for wrestling back when it was in the kayfabe closet – added a dose of reality.

...Historically, the most popular way to produce this sanguinous Sunny Delight is with the use of a small razorblade to nick the forehead

“Negative bias is the tendency to automatically give more attention to a negative event and negative information than positive information or events.”

A cursory glance at the YouTube analytics for WrestleTalk News episodes would prove that, the more negative the headline the more views. And it’s also meant these instances where wrestlers have bladed or at least bled become lasting memories.

"Many years ago I worked out in a gym and I met a guy who worked out there regularly, and he was a stunt double for The Rock," said Stone. "He was a conservative, we got to be a little friendly. He told me that The Rock had aspirations to run for political office ... He said, 'would you like to talk to him?'" Stone continued. "I said, 'sure, I'd love to talk to him.'"

Dirty Dusty Rhodes' forehead scars were evident.
