Hotter n' a pepper sprout

Little bit of road construction going on there over the pass, I see

Pine creek lodge up in Livingston is a nice choice in summer months imo

little throwdown out in the woods

No one Interested in this cool event?

That looks fun. I haven't been to those parts since the Rainbow Gathering in Big Piney. 1994, shit time flies.

If one could find a place to camp, maybe. $213 for a weekend pass isn't horrible. But the hotel and a ticket?  $1,785.46 Total for 3 nights Including all fees.

If anyone is driving there from the south, a high recommend is to get off I-15 at McCammon, ID (Lava Hot Springs road) and drive to Soda Springs and take Rt 34 north up to Wyoming 89. Amazing country, and lots mellower than the freakin' freeway and driving through Idaho Falls. A stop at Lava is nice, too. Bonus: you get to drive through Freedom, ID, population about 200, where the gun factory is. LOL

Funny, I just checked this out yesterday when looking up Kimock's upcoming shows and the price scared me. And they don't advertise rooms with two beds which I thought was strange. The actual ticket prices for music aren't too bad, but I don't need the acompanying heady feely yoga stuff or the cowboy merch. Pass.

Is the Silver Dollar Bar still  in Jackson Hole?

I worked a job in Big Piney in the 70's. Surprised that the Rainbow Gathering was there.

WOW!!!!   Its Absolutely Gorgeous Out Here!!!!!  And Everyone is so Friendly....  The air is so crisp and cool..

Coyotte~

Welcome back to the West, Mayor. Enjoy! Hope the smoke isn't too bad this week for you.

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar?  Played there c. 1980 as a member of the Jerry Harrell Band.

No, this place had hundreds of silver dollars in the bar surface.

Nevermind. I found the t-shirt. It was in Cody Wyoming.

Went to a Silver Dollar Saloon in the 90's in western Montana along the Clark Fork River

They also hung bras and panties and underwear from the rafters.

But each item was from someone famous and autographed.

Coyotte! Glad you made this trip! It was on my list but didn't want to do the 14 hr drive solo... different from driving to Cali!

Go west to Victor and Driggs, ID for some nice views of the Tetons.

While you're at the fest, check out this booth by a talented Bay area artist, Jenny.

I told her that a cool dude named Coyotte would stop by.

Many GD fam musicians wear her guitar straps!

Broulin's in Driggs is a market you could live in, if needed. They have everything. You could go up the mountain road from Driggs and check out Targhee, where they have a bluegrass fest. Great views from there, too. Tram ride at Targhee could take you up to the back side of the Tetons. Got "stuck" up there for a lightning storm one year. Mountain biking there, too.

We used to have a Zoner who had a bar-b-que place in Driggs.

Did you road trip there all the way from east coast?

We flew out left today,10 days in Jackson Hole and the parks, just spectacular.. This Small Festival exceeded my expectations.. my neighbors where, George Porter, Eric Krasno, Jackie Greene and Don Was, doesn't get any better, Everyone was so chill and inviting. Definitely going back next year Duane and his wife did a fantastic job, everyone at the resort was awesome,on a side note I taped everything my 1st time really taping since 1989... The sound crew was awesome and excepted me as I jumped into help many times and loan a hand and my experience as a roadie, What a long stange trip it's been, and it's not over .The road goes on forever...                Coyotte~
