This might be a funny place

Forums:

I realized on one mentioned Pig Pen's birthday on the 8th, nor 9/11, today.

It's like we're living in the present or something.

It's a DeadCo world now Judit.

John Mayer's birthday is October 16, 1977.

Please send him a card money.

This place used to be hilarious at times, but that got to be just too darn messy for some I guess.

Face it, it stopped being funny when Jill paid Google Search off so that people entering in the words "Phil Zone" got redirected to:

off two other things

remember that time?

Pigpen fanatic Jammin' Joel doesn't post here anymore so it's no surprise that no one mentioned McKernan's Bday (JJ still visits Pigs grave every year on 9/8).

And 9/11? What is there to say that hasn't already been said after all these years, except "Always remember, never forget!" which seems to me to be a redundant statement and isn't much different than the tired "Thoughts & Prayers" line.

But today is Mickey Hart's 81st birthday, so happy birthday to Mickey!

I'm so sorry PigPen that we missed your birthday, but now we have a big-lier thing going on....THEY ARE EATING THE DOGS! It's not funny. I told Mickey...I call him Spock, or little Spocky...I told him, you can put your hand in a windmill and take a shower with an electric shark but the shower pressure is still weak...like a Fake Jerry.... weak very weak....did I tell you about the dogs?

Now Little Spocky...I'll always remember your birthday...a day that will live in infirmary... Pearl Harbor Day. A great movie. And we got Hawaii outta the deal from the Japs. Not like the Nazis. Also good people. But all we got was half of Germany from them. Not a good deal. They should have read my book. The Germans, they eat dogs. Call them schnitzel-weiners. Means little weiner. Just like Melania always calls me. Not funny. Judit wants funny. She should make a thread. Pigpen's Birthday. I can't remember. Too many keyboard players taking American Grateful Dead jobs... TC.... Keith...God...spell? Also a great movie. Not as good as Hair -- that had naked chicks. And that new guy..Brad?  Brandon?  He was always so depressing. And Horsby. He was a temp worker. Vinne Barbarino, loved that guy. Now I have to remember the DeadCo guys, too?  Do I havta get them presents? It's not fair. What if they are dead?  Maybe just a card. it's rigged I tell ya.

So, I wasn't looking for humor, but saying that this place might be peculiar in having no mention of Ron McKernan's birthday, and that in every past year since 2001 someone has started a thread about 9/11 but not this year.

In the future I'll try to achieve precision in thread subjects.
