Yeah, I'd be surprised if that stays up very long, but what great documentation of a great place, a great time in Phil's history and a lot of great music & memories.
There are a lot of great shows posted on that page, and I think I was at almost every one. The "year" shows were all really good; I remember thinking when they started those that the idea was a little schticky, but it worked. The Telstar shows were also excellent, I always wished they'd done more of those, and I recall the 2nd set from the first show listed, 3/16/13, as being pretty amazing.
I hope all of that stays public, because TxR was a local place that most people didn't get to experience and many didn't even know existed, but it was a special place and what went on there should be seen and remembered.
If these should happen to go away, I've got several dozen shows I captured from TXR webcasts from March 2012 through the end of 2014. They're mostly P&F, but there are some Furthur shows too.
it would be really sad to see these get the axe, its not like there is a place to purchase this music. if its not on youtube its just collecting dust on some lesh family hard drives. especially considering the only person id care to pay for this music is gone now.
this brings to mind something else - does anyone know if there are any kind of protections in place for the GD sbd recordings on archive.org? after all of the former GD members are gone, who has a say in whether or not those get to stay up? if there are no protections in place to keep the sbd's up, it seems like its only a matter of time until some group of GD ancestors see $$$ and decide to pull the plug.
