i think its really nice the band is dedicated to giving the hill people some real music a handful of times per year. the longtime head residents of that area deserve it. there are folks up there who have connections going back to the genesis of this whole thing and folks who have made significant contributions to cannabis and psychedelics, and they cant really day trip down to the bay like most mendo or gold country folks. one of the best parts about the dnb is their dedication to getting some real deal psychedelic music out there to the hill people on their own turf.

Oy. I mean, great? I realize that here in Northern CA we are very spoiled DNB-wise, but Arcata is a bit of a stretch. Especially in mid-December.
I try to see David whenever and wherever these days, but this might be a last-minute decision depending on the weather.
