Greg died 10 years ago today, Jan. 5. 10 fucking years!
Yes, I miss him as much as you think I do. Less raw, less painfully, but yes. The loves of each other's lives. Thanks to each of you for your love and support over the years.
Very dear Zoners made this huge commemorative board a little later in January using pictures and images that I shared with them for a gathering at Terrapin Crossroads to celebrate Greg, my birthday, and also a David Nelson Band show.
It was all very lovingly done.
I got the commemorative board out so our son, d-i-l and grandkids can see it when they come over today to celebrate Greg. I made the dough for Greg's well-known, very famous among friends, chocolate chip cookies - we'll bake them while the family is here.

As far as how it feels for you, it's unimaginable to me. After 10 years, undoubtedly the pain hits differently, but it's still there in some measure. At what point do the good memories begin to outweigh the heaviness of the loss?
