Since those venues are just a block or so apart, are all the groups going to play both venues? A shuttle moving them back & forth?

If so, a pretty cool idea.

No spot taken, but while most of the money raised will likely disappear into the ether/corporate pockets like most benefit dough does, it's still a good effort.

And it will be certain to annoy the MAGGA crowd, which is always a plus.

I had the impression the people listed under each venue were at only that venue, but I like your idea ^ better.

More info:

"Join Stephen Stills and other incredible artists at the FireAid Benefit Concert on January 30th at Intuit Dome and The Forum. This event supports rebuilding communities affected by wildfires in Southern California, with funds directed by the Annenberg Foundation for both short-term relief and long-term prevention efforts.

Can’t attend in person? The concert will be broadcast live on AMC Theatres, Apple Music, Max, iHeartRadio, Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, and more."

I guess I didn't look that closely at the add. That makes more sense, still, too bad.

There are many, many LA artists who could be added. I would imagine Neil will be at this, Don Henley should be and Snoop Dog and other LA rappers should be as well.

If Mike Love wants to perform they should tell him it's happening at the Hollywood Bowl.

so long as 100% goes to the charity

(((helpers)))

Earth, Wind and Fire?

Maybe they should just bring Earth.

Lol

Produced by Irving Azoff in conjunction with Live Nation,  Yeah, I'm guessing all the money goes to charity.

I'd be there if I were a Westie

Couch tour this one fo sho

> I had the impression the people listed under each venue were at only that venue

Me too, and with that in mind, which venue/line-up would folks hypothetically choose? I think it would be the Intuit Dome for me.

Let's see, Rod Stewart, Steven Stills and Sting vs Joni Mitchel.   Meh. I'll pass.

Updated lists

Seems to indicate which artists are at which venue

Nash added at Forum with Stills, so where is Young?

Yeah, where's Neil?

What time does this start ? 8 WST ??

Watching the webcast and was blown away by this story.

Three rescue dogs were stuck in their home during the L.A. fires. A CBS News crew saved them.

It was a dramatic rescue. CBS News' Jonathan Vigliotti was contacted by a stranger who told him his three rescue dogs were stuck inside his Pacific Palisades house – alone – as the Palisades Fire closed in. Jonathan and his producer, who were reporting nearby, did not hesitate to help – risking their lives to save all three dogs.

A great production so far. Green Day with Billie Eilish, Both Sides Now by Joni, Stephen Stills with Mike Campbell, Stills and Nash doing "Teach Your Children" [no Neil], Anderson.Paak with Sheila E and Dr. Dre... Not bad. God damn Stills is getting too old to perform just about, but he did great tonight. Rod Stewart Schmaltzing it up now with "Forever Young" right now. Tune in (and donate)!

I thought Pink's versions of Me and Bobby McGee and Babe I’m Gonna Leave You were pretty great.

Yes her stripped-down set of tunes was fantastic. Mayernaise was not even bad, he is a talented (and very famous) guy who can hold a whole arena in his hands solo with an acoustic guitar so... it's hard to criticize. And strangely enough he's the guy on that stage I've seen live the most over the last 10 years, which is weird but I guess we all have to settle for something. All in all a fanstastic show.

END SHOW

They were collecting money in the 50/50 drawing for the LA Fires last night at the Lightning Kings Hockey game. They raised over $20,000 in the drawing. I did not win, but the lightning did beat the Kings 3-0. Went to see my son's brother in-law playing for the Kings.

cool thing we seen at the game. The usher was wearing his Stanley Cup ring. The Lightning gives them all rings when they win the cup, and it was huge.

Thanks everyone for the setlists and links.  Much appreciated.   Looks like a good time
