King? Not Even Of The Burger Variety

Forums:

This asshole is more of a clown that Ronald McDonald.

May the Hamburgler sodomize you in eternal Hell!!!

Lol!  I ve lived in the Midwest my entire life. Central, Northern and now Southern. The "king" has frozen billions of dollars in big Ag funds to farmers, and they are losing their shit right now bc this is the time of year to purchase ferts, seeds, etc.

I can unequivocally state that in the midwest, among commercial farmers, better than 75% of these folks voted for the king. My sentiment: tough luck, be careful who you vote for.

^This is just one reason why I tell people to chill, the best that you can, and simply pay attention. This guy is going to fuck over so many of his devoted followers that it is entirely possible that dems easily win the next election, maybe more.

With a little luck, one day, not too far from now, historians can write:

The king is gone, and he's best forgotten, this is the story of Donny Rotten. :)

^^^^Good one Joe.

Elon and his puppet clown (the hunched over old dude, not that test tube mini me he brought to the Oval Office) are getting more and more unbearable by the day  and its starting to wear on even his supporters and Republican elected officials.   They don't dare offend the asshole lest he sick Musk and his money on them.   But the fool's pissing match with Ukraine and saying they "started it" may be too much for them and they are playing verbal gymnastics to express their disapproval of the position without offending the King.  I sometimes troll the Fox News comment section when I get bored and, even there, there are many that are taking issue with the the 180 degree turn in US foreign policy and coddling of Putin.

Eventually the two are going to part ways and hell is going to break loose, or the older of the two assholes will keel over and die, and all hell will break loose.

Midterms can't come soon enough.

^yes, Ken, if he wants upheaval, unfortunately for him, it works both ways.  Karma is a very powerful force.

*edit

What is happening now is what Republicans have been screeching about my entire life, but they have always been smart enough to only talk about taking an axe to federal spending because they understood that all of the programs are really popular and no one wants "their" program cut they just want the imaginary trillions in welfare spending to brown people cut.

My guess is this is all to get rid of a bunch of federal workers and then they will back track and rehire -  only they will rehire Trump loyal people. It is all clearly written out in Project 2025. Then they will bring back the spending levels just a hair under where we are now, but act like they cut trillions so they can once again wreck the economy with tax cuts to people who will offshore their new found gains.

I hope I'm right about that because the alternative is they have no intention of having another election.

> The "king" has frozen billions of dollars in big Ag funds...this is the time of year to purchase ferts, seeds, etc.

Farmers not being able to plant seems to dovetail nicely with the mass deportation of field workers. Why bother planting if there will be nobody to get the crops out of the fields?

Divided we Fall.

Moving forward, try informing the more realistic repubs to challenge their mock-king.

DNC ruined it when they didn't support Bernie.

Now if Colbert had run...he could at least debate with facts, both real and biblical...as well as humor.

^^^^^ OMG get over Bernie already.  he was never ever going to be president

^^^yeah....well that is PRECISELY when the dnc screwed the pooch. he had young/old and even some conservatives supporting him. it's the nancy nay-sayers that swayed what was a grass roots movement back into the clutches of the right-wing copratists. well, we see where that got us.

they force fed a very dislikeable person on the electorate. she was NOT going to win over anyone, and only sewed discord and disappointment among the voters...

If I was this fucked up at show I would hope someone would lead me home and tell me the shut the fuck up.

>>>^^^^^ OMG get over Bernie already

Agree with this sentiment.

I looked at recent polls and trump had gone down but not as significantly as we hope.   Maybe another week or two before it clicks in but my understanding is the media and and right wing supporters are still  following as lemings do. Time will tell.   Neighbor and cousin both had their job cut by 50% working at CDC.   It's shit.  And poor fucking Ukraine.

You will wake up too late, but Bernie was this country's last chance.  You were duped by the dnc(does not care) corrupt corporatists.  He had the groundswell. If they had got behind him in 2016 or 2020 we would not be anywhere near where we are today.

My neice lives and works in Utah. Devoted Christian, she votes for whomever lies about being pro-life. Unfortunately for her, and soley due to dump, she has to report back to work, instead of working from home bc she has a government job. That wouldn't be so bad, but she has three small children she now has to pay for daycare and is complaining about the high nonthly expense to do so.

I hope people start learning lessons about who they vote for, but I'm also pessimistic about how intelligent the  average American truly is.

Let's say Bernie wins in 16. The billionaire class would have gone all in on the midterms and we would have had a Republican House and Senate. Then Covid hits and they block every stimulus bill. Remember how they showered money on the economy because they were in control. They would have shut that spigot completely off driving the country and probably the world into a depression because billionaires don't give a fuck about that. It just makes things cheaper for them to buy.

Meanwhile Trump would have spent four years throwing bombs backed by every billionaire. At the end of Bernie's one term 60% of Americans would believe that Covid was a Socialist plot that Bernie and Fauci cooked up with their commie friends in China in order to destroy capitalism. They would run and win on changing the Constitution to make capitalism the official economic policy of the US.

As for me I would rather focus on the actual Nazi's running on our country instead of the DNC in 2016.

Where have you gone; Joe DiMaggio?

Thought this was a LeBron thread

please folks - Bernie was never gonna happen.  believing otherwise is just delusional.  But more to the topic of this thread about Kings - let's all keep in mind that when kings fall out of favor the people cut his head off.

Bernie had as much a chance to win as Ross Perot on the Republican side way back when, kind of a ying/yang thingy of the undercard event

The reason Bernie was "never gonna win" is because the corporatist democrats fucked him deliberately

then they lost the White House with a candidate who had even less of a chance than he did

that's not delusion, that's reality (just to be clear). If you missed this, it's because you were asleep.

We can argue all day about whether Bernie could have won, but that isn't going to solve what is happening now.   Thankfully, Elon's puppet clown is making a fool of himself both on the world stage and domestically and his favorability ratings are sinking like a rock.   And their clown car of patently incompetent cabinet officials isn't going to make it better anytime soon.   Only a matter of time before Rubio (the only half sane one in there) quits or is fired.

> his favorability ratings are sinking like a rock

While an apt metaphor, I would have compared Musk's favorability ratings to sinking like Tesla sales.

Is Tesla the next thing to go to bankruptcy?

The MudAss Touch?

He is not going to report real Tesla sales now, if he ever did. Hopefully that information leaks.

Elon Musk’s role as President Trump’s cost-cutting czar and his immersion in right-wing politics appear to be diverting his attention from Tesla at a perilous moment for the electric car company.

Tesla’s car sales fell 1 percent last year even as the global market for electric vehicles grew 25 percent. Mr. Musk has not addressed that underperformance, and he has offered no concrete plan to revive sales. He has also provided no details about a more affordable model Tesla says it will start producing this year. In the past, Mr. Musk spent months or years promoting vehicles before they appeared in showrooms.

We need to get out of parties and into what they are doing.  Some are more realistic than others.

^can you name one republican that fits that description?

The more reasonable branch of Congress confirmed RFK and Kash Patel.
