Ross is actually an excellent bass player. There are other viable options and I would imagine there will be a few different folks taking on the role, but RMFJ would be my choice.
The venues all look really cool, I may have to make the effort to get to one in San Rafael, if just to hang with the fam again.
I was thinking just the other day about how much I miss TxR. I was lucky to have carved out a really cool long-term experience for myself there, and I think it's great that they're keeping the dream alive.
I'm close to Truckee and it's a groovy little amphitheater so I'll probably go, with low expectations that may be exceeded. Seen JGB there, and Billy's 7 Walkers, and George Clinton even, it's always a cool vibe and there's a 7-11 within walking distance. I guess I'm glad they're keeping the circus going, even if it's a little corpse-humpy. Grahame & Co. lean into the Americana vibe more than the drippy psychedelic stuff so I guess I'll be prepared for that. See y'all there!
We’re so thrilled to announce the lineups for our Terrapin Roadshow’s stop at San Rafael’s Forest Meadows Amphitheatre on July 18, 19, & 20. Set less than a mile from the old Terrapin Crossroads location, these shows - more than any other - are a celebration of the Terrapin Nation and the musical community that Phil Lesh built in Marin County. To that end, we have a massive lineup filled with as many Terrapin alums as we could pack into a lineup announcement!
Hosted by Grahame Lesh & Stu Allen, each day will feature a rotating cast of musicians & special guests. So in keeping with the spirit of Terrapin Crossroads, we promise that each day will be unique and special.

Promotor: I need a poster that says, Truckin up to Truckee. At Truckee Amphitheater. Maybe something Summer-y. Maybe with a truck theme?
Artist: I have a design left over from Chinese New Years. Red. With a dragon. In the snow. I can slap a couple of turtles from their website on it.
Promotor: Done!
