Admittedly the Catholic Church has had more than it's fair share of creeps that have  abused children over the years, but that's to be expected when the sexually repressed enter the priesthood and take vows of celibacy, and are in positions of authority. 

the issues of sexual abuse in the Church are being addressed and the current Pope is a good one, not that I agree with him on women's access to birth control. 

 

None of which has anything to do with the great work Catholic Charities is doing in our communities right now  in conjunction with interfaith groups. The activists are amazing human rights advocates,  honorable hard working people standing up to the oppressive Trump regime.

Catholic charities has done more for this world in one nanosecond than everyone here has done in their lifetimes.

Right after they started helping with domestic disaster response.
