How much would one take for a therapeutic effect, basic calming and anti-inflammatory. I can't find the answer anywhere, even on the Innerwebz! It would be sublingual. The shit is pure and pretty expensive, so I'd think it's just a small amount. Anyone?

Briank, If you do have high
Briank, If you do have high CBD crystal, it's soluble in water, as well as ethanol. And it sounds like you have a 1/2g. of it. So if you don't have a small accurate scale, you can go this route: dissolve the entire crystal in one pint of water or (preferably) your preferred 80 proof, or more, alcohol. 1/2g = 500mg and 1 pint = 473ml, so 500/473 = 1.06 mg/ml of solution.
If you have a graduated shot glass (they're actually pretty accurate), you can measure out 1 ounce. 1 fluid oz. = 29.6 ml x 1.06mg/ml = 31.4mg/ml x purity of crystal if you know it, (95%= .95) = 29.8mg CBD/ 1 oz solution. This would be more than pyramid's recommendation, but shouldn't be an overdose - at least I hope not

You could always chase the dragon in a small way .Vaping it is also an option with the coil portion of a vape oil pen they give you a coil adapter for dab or strait oil this device is cheap and would do a great job .Don't ruin it mixing it with alcohol

Still though, how much is a dose? I don't have any of that fancy dabbing equipment or a $1,000 scale. Maybe just a knife tip?

you can sprinkle on a bowl or joint, yes. but a nice dab of cbd crystal is really amazing-the immediate sensation of the cbd going to work is awesome. wish i had some myself right now!
as for dosage, just start small man...you can always ingest more.

I blame this all on Slacker.
I blame this all on Slacker. He sent me a link to an Online dispensary that will ship anywhere. I'm not sure where he found the link, but I put in an order and got some flowers, CBD and tinctures. Problem is, we're not a legal state and we have the strictest medical laws, so I'm not technologically advanced enough for any of it.
Now, the tinctures are another story. I got the 4:1 and 20:1, but really have no clue about it. I tried a dropper of the 4:1 last night and I think I got a bit lightheaded. Are they supposed to make you feel anything?
Im telling you, there's so much to learn in the new pot culture.

pretty much you want this:
a bubbler
a quartz "nail"
a utensil to dab the cbd w/ (a small coke spoon works great for the crystals/powder)
blow torch
you heat the quartz up that is fitted onto the bubbler. then just drop the cbd crystal onto the quartz while at the same time pulling on the bubbler-BAM. instant relief. smooth. satisfying. cannabis FTW:)
i am sure your local head-shop will help you with purchasing the proper rig. definitely go quartz tho, no titanium.
