Primus interstellar drum derby (spoiler alert, I reveal the winner)

Just in case ya missed it, Primus has been auditioning drummers: over 6,100 submitted videos, 10 got to audition with the band, 2 got 2nd auditions, and they found their winner, and now are on tour....
but...
They Documented the process with a dozen excellently made videos of the auditions, and I thought it was worthy of it's own post. Some great humor, and all are excellent players. It felt like the talent got better with every episode!

I only watched snippets of
I only watched snippets of the two finalists, but I actually preferred the other guy. He seemed a bit more powerful, a bit bigger sound, more "bombastic", and to me nothing describes Primus better than bombastic.
I still like Brain the best of all their drummers, but at least the new guy seems better than Jay Lane, and it's great to hear Larry shredding the guitar. IMO LaLonde is the unsung hero of that band.
And he's a huge dead head.
But then again, these days who isn't?
I'm looking forward to seeing them in Santa Cruz in August, because as we all know...

I love John Hoffman's
I love John Hoffman's audition video, he made some great musical choices to play along with. He certainly fits the personality of the band. And yes, PRIMUS SUCKS!!!

At this point in time, I think Gergo is a better drummer than John, but John seems like a better musical fit with Les. And yes, Primus Sucks!
