Same band cast as before, Rob Reiner back in his role and cameos from Paul McCartney and Elton John.
I'm normally wary of followups to classics. Spinal Tap is in the Citizen Kane/Godfather tier of movies for me. But this could be pretty good. Sir Paul quoting a line from Big Bottoms was funny.

After the singular brilliance
After the singular brilliance of the original I've been VERY hesitant to accept this, as it's hard for me to imagine how it could be much more than a rehashing/reformulating of the same jokes, but as I consider who's involved I feel I need to give them the benefit of the doubt and give it a fair try.
Because they're all brilliant, so perhaps they'll capture brilliance again.
Or at least be funny, because I'd bet all those guys are funny just getting out of bed.

Yes the remakes usually suck
Yes the remakes usually suck but Liam Neeson in the Naked Gun might be the one for me, and I was not a huge fan of the first one.
