What would you say to Trey?

Forums:

A little Friday spice up.   See if we can get some life back in this place.

Happened to bump into him in NY this week and classically fumbled the conversation.   He couldn't have been nicer and more gracious.

I'd ask if he cares to hear what people's favorite Phish show is?
If he replied, "Fuck off, wook.", I would make a snarky comment and vamoose.
If he replied in the positive, I'd ask him if he remembers the 5-9-91 show at the PPAC in Portland, ME.
It was unique in that it was small (200ish?), with stylish hardwood bench rows, in a bleacher-like rise directly from the stage.
The intimacy was low-key & fun.
At one point Trey discussed the standing/seated conundrum when viewing live music.
At another point, a lost wallet traveled down to the stage, and Trey called out the owner to come grab it.
Was starting to recognize some of these songs I had seen a time or few.
Grabbed a ticket day-of-show at the box office, I'm thinking it was a short notice announcement?
Not my first Phish show, but probably my favorite.

I'd ask him if he flips up those shades to catch pop ups

Did Mike ever share any of his art photos with you?

Thanks for getting your shit together.

I would tell him my story about the Stone Church in Newmarket when I was there for a Jessie Jackson fundraiser and the secret service were very confused about their being a full bar in a church.

Ayahuasca. The 4 of you together. Thank me at the end of the 3rd ceremony.

I'd ask him to tell me his perspective of the hour-long Terrapin, St Stephen, Eleven with Phil at Camden 2006.

Thank you for a Delightful, Boogie-ing, and *Thoughtful Set at GD60. heart
