Went to see these guys last night on a spur of the moment impulse purchase of 27.50$... what a bargain! These guys were outstanding, what a great band... would absolutely go see them again. Some of that early New Wave and punk scene appeals to me more now than it did at the time, although I had a few albums. It always amazes me when I go see bands like these guys and Blondie, etc... how much I enjoy their music.

DEVO, was 1 of the 2 best shows I saw as a teenager working at the local music venue/supper club. they marched out in unison on the tables where people were eating and shit. I had to clean it up, but it was epic. The other GEM show was Miles Davis...

no, I wish it was part of that tour but this leg they are with Billy Idol. We did not stick around for him. But it was 14 songs, plus an encore...all their own material, well orchestrated, high energy and on-point messaging, much more politically charged than I expected but true to their form as long as I've known them to be. I knew just about every song and some deep memories were unlocked as I bet I haven't heard some of those songs in 40 years. I even custied up for a sleeved jersey although my daughter drew the line at the 60$ Energy Dome for our next 80s party... she was probably right
