Leftover Nelson Feb 2017 auds are now on archive.org

Forums:

Those of you who are into this sort of thing may already know, but I was super pumped to see that the Sunday Leftover Nelson show at TXR (02/12/17) is now on the archive.

It's an aud, but may be one of the best auds you will hear from the Palm Ballroom/TXR Grate Room: Most likely because of the criminal lack of attendees for this Sunday show, there is very little chatter coming into the mics and the performance is noteworthy - especially considering our Leader's absence (Get well soon, David!).

Enjoy!  You know that I am.  blush

Thanks, JD.  I'll be sure to keep this thread on the page until I can listen to 'em on the clock (and with the good 'phones).

Thanks, John.

Was a good, fun show. Thanks Johnny for posting.

LMFAO - Westies are the UberCoolest

Maybe Never miss a Sunday show is an Eastie thing?

Downloaded most of this one, will listen some tonight.

I see that the night before is also up on Archive.

^Yes, I haven't heard that show yet.  And I heard good things about the Santa Cruz gig, so I'll want to check that out too (I think Hall or dickyb reported that one having a private party vibe).  Mainly touting the Sunday gig, as that's the only one I was able to attend of the 3.

Sideshow, I've been called many things, but that one's a first (well, I've been called a Westy before).  Thank you!  I was kind-of tongue-in-cheek, but I feel that it's good to have more people support live music, especially when it's good live music.  Not trying to act cool or elitist, just showing the band some love.  And no offense intended to those who did not attend - the weather was horrible at the time and people generally have the freedom to enjoy what they want.    I hope that you enjoy some good live music yourself.

Sweet - this is helping my afternoon move along nicely smiley

Audience recording sounds great.

Haven't heard all of it yet but my first impression, lacking in that 'Spark' David Nelson brings to the ensemble.

Will be interesting to hear what Weir brings to the Mix.

Thanks Johnny D. for the heads-up.

This should NOT go without saying:

A big thank you to the musicians for making the music and allowing it to be taped and shared.

Another big thank you to Tim Stiegler  for making the band sound great in the room and for taping the shows.

And big thanks to our own Budboy for upping these for us to hear.

Thank YOU ALL

Yes, thanks to all keeping the wheels rolling.

We live in Grand Times compared to the olden days of mailing boxes of cassettes back and forth, spending hours dubbing and so forth.

Just listened to 2-12. Wow - that is one hot show, even w/o David. Thanks to all who.
