We had an unmarked Blue Van
We had an unmarked Blue Van which parents contracted to take all us Rural kids to this one Catholic school about 1972. The nice lady would stop at the general store and let us get Reeses Peanut Butter Cups or whatever tooth-rotting candy.
Also, she would ride a little over the shoulder on the right so we could reach out the windows & grab leaves off the overhanging branches down rural lanes. But that policy abruptly ended when she hit a tree or got stuck in the mud, I forget. A tow-truck had to be engaged.
Nobody got hurt and all the kids kept their mouths shut. We all liked the Blue Van Lady
