Core 4

Forums:

will plug in again together at some point...ftw wasn't the last time...just a prediction/thought

Oh for fucks sake.....what is the fascination?

Well I hope they write a new song

Hunter collab please...

lol

That would require getting Phil and Billy in the same room, and good luck with that

I don't see it

at bobbys 70s birthday but your not invited

Everyone knows it's core 3.

the Vulcan was never an original or full-time member

At least someone knows their history.  If I have to read one more story about the "four remaining original members" my head will explode.

It's hard to express how little interest I have in seeing this happen.  Bobby slows everything down and the drummers are monotonous.

^ya, but , other than that, itd be great

Meh.  I'm not saying that I couldn't enjoy it if, say, I walked into the Capital Friday night and saw them set up.  But I'm certainly not going to go out of my way (or pay what they'd be asking to sit in a hockey rink) to see them.  Done and gone.

Exactly - Phil & Billy together has little chance if any.

That said - The Philbillys is a great band name.

It was the last time for me. I paid a lot of money to say goodbye.

No fascination...was just a thought while listening to music while driving

I'm glad I caught the Crusader Rabbit NYE show. That was my fare thee well.

I Trust in Phil to not to ever want anything to do with any kind of "formal" tour/series of shows/etc.  Fine if they do some one-off special appearance birthday/etc guest thing, even then I wouldn't feel any compelling need to be there . . . I was there for the NYE Crusader Rabbit thing and felt it was, musically, the weakest of the 5 sets Phil played that run of shows (12/30 & 31).  Certainly the 3rd NYE set w/Derek blew it out the door . . .

> the 3rd NYE set w/Derek blew it out the door . . .

That set was amazing overall and the UJB was one for the ages.

I agree, Bob, that the Crusader Rabbit set wasn't the best of that run, but at the same time, I would say that it was more inspired than the FTW shows in Chicago.
