When you get it to that stage and it won't give you the button, Click around the pic then hit enter. This should give you the preview button bottom left.
What Mark said is correct. When you first place the image you are still in it - you can see the edge highlighted.
On my iMac I can just hit enter to come out and activate the next buttons. On a phone or tablet I have to click outside the image to move out and get a keyboard so I can go on.
Panzer, it sounds like your problem may be earlier. You have to click Upload twice in the process. Once to start, then again after you select the image you want, before inserting the file into the drafting area.

Cannot seem to get the last
Cannot seem to get the last step on posting pics to work.
When I upload the image...it will not give me the final "insert file" option.
I'm working on a mac- I'm sure that's not an issue.

I'm working on a mac as well, and I can insert the pic, but can't post unless there is also text.
So I type something then delete it after preview or in the edit window.
