Happy Saturday Morning

Forums:

Good morning my fellow vivers.

One of my dogs has a bad cough he has had for a few months, back and forth to the vet. Last night he woke us up with a bad attack, this morning he goes back to the doc. Shadow is around 13.

Bucky, how is the nail on your dog?

My latest hobby is fixing bikes, i scored a free Nirve paul frank amphibious asphalt cruiser last week, i'll take pics when i'm done with it.

Wishing everyone a fantastic day.

Good morning, Fog. Snowy day here. Have another gig this evening with the band. Saving up all my T to let loose tonight. Cheers!

Playing trollf there, Slacker?

any good disc golf courses in vermont?

Plenty. When the snow melts.

Many ski areas have at least one.

Feeling kind of raw and gray, like the weather.

The next couple of days will be spent preparing taxes for my Mom, and for us. Mom is moving from the memory care ward in her assisted living center to full on nursing home care, as soon as Medicaid allows. This will be the last tax return we'll file for her, since we liquidated the last of her assets last winter before she moved to the memory care ward.

It has been an emotional year.

Looking forward to sunshine, warmer weather, and the joy of spring.

Its coming Zeke, hang in there man. My parents are both 80 and i'm dreading the next step. Good luck on the nursing home switch.

Happy Saturday Fog! Im going to eat this Kringle from Trader Joes (sorry re food reference), then watch more english footie, then a walk in the woods to take some wildlife photos.oh and enchiladas for late lunch. if time gonna go shopping for a cajon drum

Zeke- be well.   Its a hard hard thing so take care of yourself and do what you can.

Mulch Day here, 10 cubic yards dumped on a tarp yesterday. My son and I are getting ready to spread it around. Fun stuff. Gonna hit a Portugal. The Man show tonight. Have a great day everyone!

What color mulch?

It's brown, natural stuff, The colored mulch looks nicer but costs a lot more and a lot of mine washes away after various rain storms over time so I keep it cheap.

When the w+b is done I'll be digging in the dirt, trying to level what will be the floor of a storage/hangout area created by a tent type portable carport we bought recently. The frame and canopy are up; tarp floor next after earth-moving.

I blew off going to DMV for my vehicle - inspection. Sticker expired yesterday surprise

Perhaps Monday.

It quit raining, warming up some, so outdoor chores over driving to the State Garage of Oppression.

I sure hope the brown mulch is acceptable.

Don't eat the brown mulch!

Im not a fan of red cedar mulch....brown is fine, 6

I'm down with brown. I dislike red too.

Love mulchin...one of my favorite jobs when i was landscaping....crappy day out in Ct today...been raining or sleeting for 24 hrs ...but, im off to work right now, so, it dont matter...have a great day, all

Natural shredded hardwood only. No red or black.

I'm on spring break and have some essays to grade, but I've also been busy running my friends' MMJ delivery service while they're up north on vacation for a week. The place we live is a small town in the mountains and it's been interesting encountering folks in this new context.

In other news, the weather here is damn near perfect, with sunny skies and daytime temps in the mid 60s. Fruit trees are blooming and daffodils are up, but I have yet to see any California poppies at this elevation.

Happy Sunday, Zoners.

Spring is trying to break out here on Long Island and trying to live up to her name.

Happy Sunday, everyone.
