Hooteroll? Tonight!

Forums:

Anyone up for Joe Russo plays Hooteroll? At the Capital Theater tonight.

Hooterollcall:

Trailhead + one

I'll b there....

If I lived closer I would be there.

I'm in!

I wish!

will amazingly be there next weekend for both TAB shows-

have fun, Trailhead:)

Thanks. It's gonna be a hoot!

Enjoy Trey band

Trying to make tonight work.  The long late train or expensive car ride home is usually the issue.  My arithmetic says no as I just got the math question wrong logging in and it's only noon

I'm in as well..."Always a hoot"

Sounds like a great show, wish I was near Port Chester tonight. On a related note HTK Trio (Howard Wales, Terry Haggerty & Kevin Hayes) is performing at Sweetwater on 4/13, only $20. I heard them in studio on the KPFA GD marathon recently and it sounded fantastic!

I have an extra balcony ticket if anyone is looking.

hmmm sounds fun.

A great live album, recorded in 1970 at The Matrix:

Ro - i wish i could make that TAB show and extend the east/west groove we shared in November but im having a little medical procedure next week that might keep me slowed down for a few days.....

I am loving this!!

nnjimmy is live. Set 1 just ended.

I am very impressed so far. Pretty together for a one-off.

Banjo was glued to the lappie, he loves streams :) I wished I'd a gone...but the stream was great. Thanks to nnJimmy.

Amazing night!  Thank you Joe Russo and friends. And thank you Capital Theater for having us all.  What a refreshing wave of music splashed upon us.  They should really take this on the road if possible.

It was jamming..anybody got a set list...

From Russo Facebook

What a night! Thank you The Capitol Theatre and thank you Erik Deutsch, Jonathan Goldberger, Kevin Kendrick, Dave Harrington, Stuart D. Bogie & Jordan McLean (musician) for bringing such inspired musicianship and passion to this project. I am humbled to be surrounded by such incredible humans.

I also want to give a deeply heartfelt thank you to the audience last night. Not sure I've ever had the pleasure of playing a show like that, to such an engaged, respectful and attentive audience. It was greatly appreciated by all of us in the band and really made the night even more special.

Thank you all who came out and took a chance on our show. We all had an incredible time! I can't thank you all enough for the support! <3 #luckyduck #HootPLus+

This should rage I hope everyone has fun tonight

Man this show was absolutely THE TITS - wish they could do a tour of this & cover other jazz psychedelic pieces.  Loved that it was all composed instrumentals leading to deep dark psychedelia - no "fluff" of badly sung GD covers like Ramble on Rose or Loose Lucy.  If I was some insanely rich guy like Bill Gates or Zuckerman I'd sponsor these guys to go on tour . . . & I wouldn't feel obligated to throttle the band by participating & singing Stella Blue really badly like those Moonalice Dunderheads.
