they are total dicks.
i flew united awhile ago, and they repeatedly made threats over the com about people talking during the safety drill before the flight. The lady talking sounded downright evil, saying something along the lines of "if you continue to disobey us and talk, you will be removed from the plane"

Top tier customers are guaranteed a seat on all flights. They should have handled it differently and moved people in coach so the dude moved had a good seat and not a middle.
