Thanks!

LIVE DEAD ‘69

PERFORMING "LIVE DEAD" IN ITS ENTIRETY FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, ANYWHERE (AND OTHER TASTEFUL SELECTIONS)

FEATURING:

• Tom Constanten (Original Grateful Dead pianist)
• Mark Karan (Rat Dog, The Other Ones guitarist)
• Slick Aguilar (Jefferson Starship, David Crosby lead guitarist)
• Robyn Sylvester (Rat Dog bassist)
• Jay Lane (Rat Dog drummer)

ADVANCE: $20.00
DAY OF SHOW: $25.00

Sounds like fun!

So it's a Bob-less, Chimenti-less Ratdog w/ Slick and TC.

NIce to see Robyn Sylvester out and playing as I believe he was really sick for a stretch.  Too far of a drive for me but looks like a great time.

They're playing in Asheville and DC coming up now with Pete Lavezzoli on drums, and a bass player I've never heard of. That lineup just played in FL. Seems like the rhythm section is rotated depending on who is available when. I would actually prefer PL playing Dead music on drums over Jay Lane.

They're apparently doing the Live Dead album with other old school GD tunes mixed in. Jay Lane is just not the guy to play drums on Dark Star for my taste.

But TC is definitely an attraction in any scenario playing that material. It's mystifying that TC hasn't been on some form of a Phil & Friends lineup sometime over the past decade or so.

I saw them at Sweetwater and thought they were quite good

Def a show to catch...if ya can

I missed them at Sweetwater. Those YT links sound good.

Thanks everyone for the input and the links! There are some Sweetwater cuts on YT also.

Those Venura links sound good. I think Sideshow and I will have to check these guys out.

Good to see Mark Karan and Robyn Sylvester doing well after their health issues.

I remember they both missed time from Ratdog tours.

I was at Sweetwater

Definitely enjoyed the lineup

all of them rocked out!

Not usually a big fan of GD cover bands but making an exception for this as it's Old School ;)

Saw this show the other night....thought it was fantastic!
